These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website and the sale of products by U-Proof (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the customer (“you”). By placing an order through this website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About U-Proof

U-Proof supplies waterproofing and building protection products, including liquid rubber coatings, fibre sealants, wall & roof paints, primers and membranes, for use by homeowners, contractors, builders and property maintenance teams across South Africa.

2. Products & Pricing

All prices displayed on this website are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. We make every effort to ensure prices and product information are accurate, but reserve the right to correct any errors and to change prices without prior notice. The price payable is the price displayed at the time your order is placed.

3. Orders & Payment

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products, which we may accept or decline. A binding contract of sale is only formed once we confirm your order.

We accept payment by credit and debit card, processed securely through Paystack, as well as Payflex’s buy-now-pay-later instalment plans for customers who qualify. We do not accept manual EFT payments. All card payments are processed by our third-party payment providers; U-Proof does not store or have access to your full card details.

4. Delivery

We offer nationwide delivery through Fastway Couriers. Delivery rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight/size. Estimated delivery timeframes are provided at checkout and are indicative only; delays caused by the courier network, weather, or events outside our control are not the responsibility of U-Proof.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your order on arrival and notify us within 48 hours of any damage or shortage.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Warranty

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, are not affected by these terms. If a product you receive is defective, unsafe, or does not match its description, please contact us at info@uproof.co.za within a reasonable time of discovery so we can arrange a repair, replacement or refund in line with the Act.

For change-of-mind returns on unopened, unused products in original packaging, please contact us to discuss eligibility. [Specific return window and process to be confirmed by U-Proof.]

6. Cancellations

You may request to cancel an order at any time before it has been dispatched by contacting us directly. Once an order has been dispatched, our standard returns process applies.

7. Limitation of Liability

Products should be used in accordance with the application guidance provided on this website and on product packaging. U-Proof is not liable for damage arising from incorrect surface preparation, application outside recommended conditions, or use of a product for a purpose other than its intended one. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and product descriptions, is the property of U-Proof or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
